Samsung likely to launch Galaxy S8 and Galaxy S8+ smartphone in India on April 19, 2017

South Korean company, Samsung may be introducing the Galaxy S8 and Galaxy S8+ smartphones in Indian market on April 19, 2017. This information of launching the smartphones comes through the tweet by the Samsung India official account. The company will announce the price details of the smartphones at the time of launch.

Samsung Galaxy S8

The Galaxy S8 smartphone will offers a 5.8-inch with a resolution of 1440×2960 pixels and Corning Gorilla Glass 5 for protection. It will be powered by an Exynos 8895 with 4GB of RAM and is back up by a 3000mAh battery with fast charging and wireless charging. The device may offer 64GB storage that can be expandable up to 256GB by using microSD card and will be operates on Android 7.0 operating system. The smartphones will be comes with a camera at rear of 12-megapixel and a camera at front of 8-megapixel. Both cameras have an aperture of f/1.7. The device will have a processor of 1.9GHz octa-core.

The Galaxy S8+ smartphone will offer a 6.2-inch with a resolution of 1440×2960 pixels and will be back up by a 3500mAh battery with fast charging and wireless charging. It will be powered by an Exynos 8895 with 4GB of RAM as similar to Galaxy S8 smartphones. The device may offer 64GB storage that can be expandable up to 256GB by using microSD card and will be operates on Android 7.0 operating system. The smartphones will be comes with a camera at rear of 12-megapixel and a camera at front of 8-megapixel. Both cameras have an aperture of f/1.7. The device will have a processor of 1.9GHz octa-core.

The Galaxy S8 and Galaxy S8+ smartphones also offer Samsung Knox, IP68 dust and water resistance, Samsung Pay, earphones tuned by AKG and 4G LTE support.
