Gionee launches the S9 Smartphone in China at Rs 25,000

Chinese company, Gionee has introduced the S9 smartphone in China. It will be available in China on November 25 at a price of CNY 2,499 (roughly Rs 25,000). The company did not inform about the global launch of the S9 smartphone.

The S9 smartphone offers a 5.5-inch full-HD (1080×1920 pixels) display comes with 2.5D curved glass and storage of 64GB which can be expandable up to 128GB by using microSD card. It has a 2GHz octa-core MediaTek (MT6755) Helio p10 processor and a 4GB of RAM. The device operates on Android 6.0 Marshmallow with Amigo OS 3.5 and its size 154.2×76.4×7.4mm and weighs nearly 168 grams. It has various features including 4G with VoLTE, GPRS/ EDGE, 3G, Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.0, GPS, Micro-USB and is back up by a 3000mAh battery.

The smartphone comes with a two cameras which are placed at the rear of 13-megapixel together with a second camera of 5-megapixel. Both rear cameras have sensors from Sony and Samsung separately with a dual LED flash. Another camera is placed at the front of 13-megapixel use for selfies.

The device comes with secure features such as application password feature which used for lock the apps and documents by fingerprint or password lock. It has reserved space that the consumers uses as a personal and save private contacts, texts, call history, and documents that can be secure with fingerprint.

The smartphone has fingerprint scanner and supports dual-SIM.  It will be available in Black, Gold, and Rose Gold colour only
